Welcome to CtxKit. By using our services, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

1. Service Description

CtxKit provides server-hosted tools for AI agents, including document ingestion, semantic search, and progressive reading capabilities via MCP and REST API. Services are delivered on a credit-based billing model.

2. Account Registration

You must register with a valid phone number or email address. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. One account per user is permitted.

3. Credits and Billing

Credits are the unit of consumption for our services. Each new account receives 100 free credits upon registration. Additional credits can be purchased through credit packages. Credits do not expire but are non-refundable and non-transferable between accounts.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the service for any unlawful purposes, including but not limited to: violating intellectual property rights, distributing malicious content, circumventing access controls, or reverse-engineering the service. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms.

5. API Keys

API keys grant access to your project resources. You are solely responsible for keeping your keys secure. If a key is compromised, you must rotate or revoke it immediately. We are not liable for unauthorized usage resulting from leaked keys.

6. Content Processing

By submitting URLs for processing, you represent that you have the right to process the linked content. We store processed content (markdown, images, embeddings) within your project until you delete it or close your account.

7. Service Availability

We strive to provide reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Scheduled maintenance and unexpected outages may occur. We are not liable for any losses arising from service disruptions.

8. Termination

You may close your account at any time through account settings. Upon termination, your data and unused credits will be permanently deleted. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service periodically. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-platform notification. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
